Was looking for an electric compressor testing system that would be used to test the different inverters & compressors designed and manufactured at Emerson plants under dynamic and static conditions. The testing should be done to check the units in dynamic and static ways.
In addition, Emerson required a housing solution for the testing.
Testing the compressor performance can be done in two ways: statically or dynamically.
In both cases, in order to get the data of the compressor output torque, it is necessary to use one of the following two options:
Testing an open compressor, in a vertical set-up.
Building a special housing for the compressor stator and rotor, creating a “Housing Motor,” and testing the output performance of the “housing motor.”
Compressor manufacturers and driver manufacturers are both interested in the static and dynamic performances of the compressor.
